Flemish girl living in the South of France... knitting, sewing and crafting along the way !

Born in Belgium (Gent) I started sewing at the age of 15. When I discovered how much I liked it, I worked one year on my own before starting with evening sewing classes in the local school of our town. I picked up knitting a bit earlier, at the age of 8, for a school project and I didn't put the needles down ever since.

​

During my studies (I am a marine biologist) I had to leave crafting on the side, nevertheless I never got rid of the bug. I picked it back up during my second year of PhD and it got me trough the difficult moments. 

​

After my PhD, I moved to Nice inthe South of France to join my boyfriend. I found the group "Nice tricote" where I found amazing friends, new challenges and new knitting adventures. I also got a rabit, Leopold, which you might see featured on the photographs! 

 

I continue sewing, crafting and reading along the way. You can read all about my projects here! I don't have an online shop with my own creations yet but hopefully in the future ;)
